Partly Cloudy Week Ahead for Havana with Occasional Showers

by admin477351

Havana will experience unstable weather conditions throughout the week of October 16–22, influenced by a stationary front in the Florida Straits and a surface trough over central Cuba and the Gulf of Mexico. These systems, combined with high humidity, are expected to bring occasional showers and isolated thunderstorms across the city.

Mornings will generally be partly cloudy, with increased cloudiness and scattered rain in the afternoons, especially along the northern coast. Winds will blow from the northeast to east at 10–25 km/h, with relative humidity ranging from 75% to 95%.

Temperatures will remain warm, with daytime highs between 29°C and 32°C (84–90°F) and overnight lows from 21°C to 23°C (70–73°F). The sea surface temperature is expected to hold steady at around 28°C (82°F), ideal for marine activities despite the intermittent rain.

No tropical cyclone development is anticipated in the Atlantic, Caribbean, or Gulf of Mexico during the next 24 hours.
