Meanwhile, a NATO patrol involving a Spanish fighter jet successfully downed a suspected Russian drone after it breached Romanian airspace, as per NATO representatives.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy accused Russia of persistently targeting civilian infrastructure, citing that Moscow had launched over 1,550 attack drones, nearly 1,560 guided bombs, and 62 missiles against Ukraine over the preceding week. This intensification of conflict comes as both nations extend their utilization of long-range weaponry, heightening the potential for casualties and destruction distant from the front lines.
